Welcome to Vancouver Island View!
Your guide to the best activities, attractions, and events happening on Vancouver Island
While I believe the tagline: Island life ~ Island time ~ Island fun sums it all up pretty nicely, let me tell you a bit more about Vancouver Island View.
Our family has lived on Vancouver Island since the summer of 2008. From that very moment, we were smitten with the beautiful surroundings of this magical place.
There is just something about being near the ocean that brings a sense of peace and tranquillity. The world around you seems a little less harried, and a lot more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere all that more relaxing.
This website showcases and shares everything I love about Vancouver Island, with the sole purpose of getting others inspired to get out and explore too.
And yes, that goes for not only tourists but locals as well!
Funny enough it has been documented that we don’t often make the effort to be a tourist in our own hometown. I can’t tell you how many home-grown locals we have come across who have yet to venture further than their own backyard.
So whether you are a local, or come from afar, we advise you to utilize this blog to start discovering all Vancouver Island has to offer.
And I can assure you, there is a lot to see and do!
Van Isle View is an online resource and guide to finding the best of Vancouver Island.
It’s a place where locals and tourists alike find things to do.
